With a passion for representing our country, Josh returned to the Olympics in Sydney in 2000 where he was elected Captain of the USA Men’s swim Team. He went on to break the American record three times in his event, the 200 meter free-style, and won two silver medals. After 2 Olympics and 5 medals, Josh has established himself as ambassador for the sport of swimming and is pioneering the road for the next generation of professional swimmers.
3 Time Olympic Gold MedalistJosh earned his medals while modeling a life of integrity and balance. He was able to achieve family and business goals while pursuing an Olympic dream. Josh learned to maintain this balance by developing seven habits for achieving his personal and athletic goals. Inevitably, applying these habits has thrust Josh into leadership opportunities and created a platform for him to inspire thousands of people a year.
Josh is the owner and founder of USA Swim Clinics, LLC the world leader in providing swimming education through personal interaction with many of the greatest swimmers in the World. June 2008, Josh released his first book The Goal and the Glory, a collection of 60 stories about 30 different Olympic athletes and their journey to the Olympic Games.
